What are DP12 Groups All About? The DP12 groups help connect people who share similar interests or hobbies. Whatever your interest, we have just the right group for you! Choose from groups with various interests from recreational to Bible and book studies to prayer to mentoring to creative arts-the offerings are endless. Examples, include fishing, cooking, car maintenance, quilting, bowling, golf, astronomy, music, and many more.
Our groups come together under the common vision of the church, with the unified interest of the growth and development of its individual members into spiritual maturity. With the help of others, each person will grow in his or her gifted area (s).
1 Corinthians 12:7 states, "Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." From this passage we can conclude that everyone has been given a gift from the Lord that contributes to the Body of Christ, endeavoring to fulfill the potential given them.
