What Is Divine Potential?
Divine potential has been given to and awaits the acceptance of those who are willing to participate in it. It is the power of Almighty God to alter the fundamental laws of the universe in order to accomplish His purposes through earthen vessels. The Apostle Peter spoke of it when he said:His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. (2 Peter 1:3-4).
As you study this work, you will realize that Almighty God is willing to invest His potential and divine power in you. His divine power works with, for, and within you to develop all He has purposed for your life. When it is developed, His divine potential is of immense value and infinite force. He directs your steps to greatness in this life and in the world to come. As a result, you experience great eternal rewards. His plans come to pass in your life as you do all that's required of you.
You are His child and He withholds no good thing from you when you are submitted to Him. It is God's pleasure to give you His Kingdom in this life-in the here and now. It is His will for you to experience His divine power working in you and accomplishing His purposes. All you have to do is accept it.
In Genesis 1:26-28 we read God's life-giving words with regard to us: Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." (Emphasis mine.) These words, which have been read time and time again by so many, lay the foundation for our triumphant work in life. In this Scripture, we see God empowering human beings and giving them divine directives for their lives. God gives human beings immeasurable potential, a potential that is bound only by the limitations we accept by choice. Fundamentally, for your divine potential the following words of God become life changing: The Word of Your Endless Empowerment The Word of Your Divine Directives As you apply the principles that are detailed in the book "Achieving Your Divine Potential," you'll develop your faith in God and increase your capacity to participate in His ". . . divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires" (2 Peter 1:4). You will develop your faith by: As you read this book, my prayer is that the Holy Spirit will speak to you through the words you read and reveal more to you than what is written herein. I pray that He will make it personal to you. I know God loves you and desires for you to live a blessed life. You are His child and He cares for you. He gave all of us His divine potential. It awaits you; seize it!
